1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy outlines The Event Clinic’s practices regarding information collected from users who access its website (@theeventclinic.com), or who otherwise share personal information direct with the company. 

Your privacy is important to us. The Event Clinic will not share, sell or rent your details to any third-party companies or individuals.We may occasionally use the data to send you information on services that we think might interest you, but you will always be able to opt out of any such on-going communication quickly and easily.

We collect two types of data and information from users.

For Non-Personal Information, The Event Clinic is not aware of the identity of the user from whom the information was collected. 7. Retention

The Event Clinic will retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the contracted services, to comply with our legal and financial obligations and to resolve any disputes.  

Retention periods will be determined by the type of information collected and the purpose for its collection, always keeping in mind the standard requirement that outdated and unused information is destroyed as soon as reasonably possible.

We reserve the right to rectify or remove incomplete or inaccurate information, at any time and at our own discretion.

We also use a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect information about your use of the site. Google Analytics collects the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit the site, but not your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to this site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that we do not own or control, or to individuals whom we do not employ or manage, including any of the third parties to whom we may be legally bound to disclose information as set forth in this Privacy Policy (point 5).

We take great care in implementing and maintaining the security of the site and your information. All Personal Information is stored in an electronic format on password protected databases.

Our third-party site hosting and technical partners are legally bound to encrypt all data stored and employ industry standard procedures and policies to ensure the safety of the information we collect and retain, and to prevent unauthorized use of any such information.

Although we take reasonable steps to safeguard information, we cannot be responsible for the acts of those who gain unauthorized access to or abuse our site and we make no warranty, express, implied or otherwise, that we can prevent such access.

We may use Personal Information, such as your name and email address, to provide you with updates on and developments of our services. You will have the option to unsubscribe quickly and easily from any such communications and to have your details removed from any future distribution lists, if you so desire.

We reserve the right to periodically amend or revise this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be effective immediately upon the display of the revised Privacy Policy. All revisions to the policy will be referenced within the document.
